New Delhi: A major accident took place when a car met with an accident in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of Sunday. Police said that three college students died in the accident. Police said it is suspected that the car was being driven at a high speed.

Police said it is suspected that the car was being driven at a high speed. According to the police, a group of 10 students studying in a private engineering college in nearby Eluru district had gone on Saturday night to visit Maredumilli, a nature center with waterfalls and rich biodiversity in East Godavari district.
Their car skidded off the road and fell into a canal at Burugupudi Gate in East Godavari district around midnight on Saturday, police said. The deceased were identified as Harshvardhan, Hemant and Uday Kiran, while the rest of the occupants of the vehicle were injured and have been hospitalised.
Police has reached the spot and the matter is being investigated. In Jharkhand’s Giridih, a bus went out of control and fell into the river. Six people have been reported dead in this accident, while many people are injured. Police said that around 30 people were traveling in the bus when the accident took place. The bus went uncontrolled and fell into the river about 30 feet below, breaking the road divider.
