12-year-old boy dies after falling into 60-feet-deep hole in Giridih district of Jharkhand

Jharkhand: On Friday, an officials said that a boy died in Giridih district of Jharkhand after he fell into a 60-foot-deep hole and remained trapped there for at least five hours before being pulled out. He was 12-year-old.

Jharkhand: On Friday, an officials said that a boy died in Giridih district of Jharkhand after he fell into a 60-foot-deep hole and remained trapped there for at least five hours before being pulled out. He was 12-year-old.

They also said that at around 11 am in the morning, four boys climbed a hill in Bhadua hill of Mufassil police station area to pluck berries.

Giving details about this incident, they further said that while plucking berries, Karan Bhuiyan slipped into the pit of the illegal mine, which was 60 feet deep. Three other boys said that they could not see the hole because it was covered with shrubs.

After receiving information about this incident, police and rescued team reached on the spot. The police said that after a rescue operation that lasted for five hours, the child was taken out at around 4 pm. When he was taken to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead.

According to the information, the police said that the incident happened in the command area of ​​Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), which has been informed about the incident.
