14 opposition parties Petition filed in SC, against arbitrary use of ED, CBI; hearing on April 5

New Delhi: 14 opposition parties led by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding misuse of ED and CBI. The petition has sought guidelines for raids and arrests. The apex court has fixed the date of hearing on April 5 in this matter.

New Delhi: 14 opposition parties led by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding misuse of ED and CBI. The petition has sought guidelines for raids and arrests. The apex court has fixed the date of hearing on April 5 in this matter. Actually, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has done the work of bringing all these 14 opposition parties on one platform.

The special thing is that Congress is also included in this list.Apart from Congress, these 14 parties include Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Janata Dal United, Bharat Rashtra Samiti, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena (Uddhav), National Conference, Nationalist Congress Party, CPI, CPM and DMK are included.

The opposition has taken this step a day after Rahul Gandhi was convicted in a defamation case by a Surat court. After the court’s decision, non-Congress chief ministers have questioned its decision. At the same time, Congress has held a meeting of opposition parties on Friday.

Apart from this, AAP’s Manish Sisodia, BRS’s K Kavita and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav are on the radar of central agencies.CBI and ED have arrested Manish Sisodia in Delhi’s alleged liquor scam. Kavita has been questioned in the same case and Tejashwi Yadav and his family are being investigated in the land for job case.
