A passenger who disembarked from a flight that arrived at the Jaipur International Airport from Dubai was arrested for allegedly smuggling 2.20 kg of gold worth Rs 1.40 crore. A police officer gave this information on Friday.Anil Kumar Meghwal, a resident of Rajgarh town in Churu district of Rajasthan, landed at the airport on Thursday, the official said. He was carrying gold in his luggage.
Additional Police Commissioner Kailash Bishnoi said – Airport police station had received information that one person Anil Kumar was smuggling two kg of gold.
