The Meridian gets a wireless charger, USB A- and C-charging ports, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated 8-way power adjustable front seats, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control with head-mounted third-row AC vents, ‘Emperador’ brown seats as well as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Jeep UConnect, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a premium Alpine audio system. The second and third row of the Meridian are reclinable, and can be folded flat completely.
2022 Jeep Meridian: Engine
The 2022 Jeep Meridian is powered by a sole 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 170 hp power and 350 Nm torque, mated to a 6-speed MT as well as an optional 9-speed AT. The latter will also be offered with an optional all-wheel drive system. The brand states that it has a top speed of 198 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 10.8 seconds.
Jeep Meridian: rivals
The monocoque-bodied Meridian’s only logical rival in India is the Skoda Kodiaq, although for its price and all-wheel drive capabilities, it will also face competition from full-size ladder frame SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.
