2023 Miss World pageant to be held in India after 27 years

New Delhi: India will host the 71st edition of Miss World. That is, this year Miss World 2023 beauty pageant is going to be held in India. Explain that this prestigious international competition will be hosted in India after 27 years. It was last held in India in 1996.

New Delhi: India will host the 71st edition of Miss World. That is, this year Miss World 2023 beauty pageant is going to be held in India. Explain that this prestigious international competition will be hosted in India after 27 years. It was last held in India in 1996.

Julia Morley, President and CEO of Miss World Organization announced this at a press conference held on Thursday in New Delhi. He said that through this event, we will be able to share India’s unique and diverse culture, world class attractions and breathtaking places with the rest of the world. Miss World Karolina Bielawska of the year 2022 was also present on this occasion.

Julia Morley also expressed her excitement about India becoming the Miss World 2023 venue. They said, “I am delighted to announce India as the new destination for the 71st Miss World Finals. I have loved India ever since I visited this incredible country more than 30 years ago. And can’t wait to share the variety.”

Representatives from more than 130 countries will participate in this beauty pageant. Miss World Organization announced that there will be multiple rounds to shortlist the contestants a month before the grand finale to be held in November- December 2023.

India has won the Miss World pageant six times – first in 1966, when Rita Faria won the Miss World title, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was crowned in 1994. Diana Hayden won the Miss World title in 1997. Yukta Mukhi won the Miss World title in 1999 and Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss India World in the year 2000. After this Manushi Chhillar became the sixth Miss India World.
