As translated by soompi.com, Yoo’s note reads: “I am sorry for leaving first. I am especially sorry to mum, dad, grandma and brother.

“My heart screams that I don’t want to live. Life without me may be empty, but please live on bravely. I will keep watch of everything. Don’t cry.

“I’m not sad right now. I feel resolute and calm. I think it’s because I have thought of this for a long time.

“I’ve lived such a happy life which was more than what I deserved. That’s why, it is enough for me. This is enough. So please live without placing blame on anyone.”

Joo-eun made her acting debut in the 2018 K-drama Big Forest and was best-known for her role in 2019’s Joseon Survival Period alongside Kang Ji-hwan, Kyung Soo-jin and Song Won-seok.

“I didn’t want to do anything else. That feeling was so hopeless. Having something you want to do is a blessing, but I realised that only wanting to do that one thing is also a curse.”

Yoo Joo Eun concluded the note by saying, “And to my dear family, friends, and loves. Thank you for adoring me and loving me. It was my strength and my laughter as well. I think I lived a successful life because I’m taking unforgettable memories till the end. Thank you for understanding and putting up with me. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more expressive. But I hope you’d understand.
