3.1 Magnitude earthquake strikes Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand

Earthquake: The National Center for Seismology has informed that an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude occurred in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand in the early hours of Monday.

New Delhi: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Uttarkashi. According to the news agency ANI, the intensity of this earthquake has been measured at 3.1 on the Richter scale. Even ten days back, the earth shook in Uttarakhand.

There was an earthquake of 4.3 magnitude in the early hours of November 9 in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. This earthquake came after a relatively strong earthquake of 6.3 magnitude in Nepal. The tremors of which were also felt in some parts of Delhi-NCR.

Earthquake tremors were felt at a depth of 5 kilometers under the ground in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. The National Center for Seismology had told that the epicenter of the earthquake in Nepal was Dipayal in Doti district of Nepal. The depth of this earthquake was 10 km below the ground. After these tremors of the earthquake in the Himalayan country of Nepal, many people died in the house collapse incident.
