Gulmarg : The National Center for Seismology (NCS), on Thursday informed that an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale had hit the North of Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir.
The earthquake occurred at around 12:45 pm.

“Earthquake of Magnitude 3.8 occurred on Thursday around 12:45:21 IST, Latitude: 34.91 and Longitude: 74.30, Depth: 20 Km, Location: 96 Km North of Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, India,” NCS tweeted
Earlier in the week, tremors were felt in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pangin, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. There was no immediate report of any loss of life or damage to property.
On February 6, an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred near Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand at 11.27 am.
