The SUV going from Polytechnic Crossroads to Munshi Pulia in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow went uncontrolled and fell down from the flyover at around 12.30 am on Saturday. The injured was admitted to the hospital.
New Delhi: A speeding car fell off a flyover in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, resulting in the death of three individuals and One person sustained injuries in the incident.
The SUV going from Polytechnic Crossroads to Munshi Pulia in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow went uncontrolled and fell down from the flyover at around 12.30 am on Saturday. The injured was admitted to the hospital.
Police reached the spot and started investigation by taking possession of the dead bodies. According to police sources, one of the deceased was identified as a trainer at Olympia Gym in Indira Nagar D Block.
According to the information, The deceased have been identified as Amit Kumar, Rajkumar, and Priyanshu Shukla, while the injured individual has been identified as Harsh Shukla. Police said that a preliminary report suggests that the four were returning from a marriage party in Chinhat and were going towards Munshipuliya when the accident occurred.
DCP North Zone, Qasim Abidi, said, “A police team reached the spot and pulled out the bodies of the passengers from the mangled pieces of the vehicle and rushed them to the nearest hospital but the doctors declared them brought dead. One of them whose identity could not be ascertained has sustained grievous injuries and is battling for life.”
