3 Killed in Chapra-Siwan highway accident, Bihar police van hits bikers, fuel tank explodes

While returning from the Central Home Amit Shah's program Sitabdiara, a bus carrying police personnel crushed three bike-borne youths on the Chhapra-Siwan Main Road, causing all the three people. Death occurred on the spot.

The incident took place near Deoria village under Rivilganj police station in Chapra district. The three dead youths are said to be residents of Pokhar Bhinda village of Kopa police station area. Among the dead, one youth has been identified as Babulal Manjhi, son of Satyanarayan Manjhi, Kundan Manjhi, son of Sukhlal Manjhi, and the third youth, son-in-law of Devnath Manjhi, a resident of Pokharbhinda, a resident of Magaideh village under Mufassil police station area.

According to the information, while returning from Sitab Diara, the police bus trampled three bike-borne youths near Deoria village under Revilganj police station. In the sequence of the accident, a youth riding a bike got stuck under the bus and the bike dragged along the bus for a distance of 100 yards, after which the bus caught fire due to friction and a bike rider got burnt.
