3,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed and over 10,000 injured in ongoing war with Russia: Zelensky

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has turned destructive. A large number of Ukrainians were killed as a result of a fierce attack by Russian troops and carpet bombardment.

Dead bodies are scattered in the capital, Kyiv, and other cities. Besides these atrocities, Russian troops are on the rampage. Unfortunately, the incessant rape of minor girls stunned the entire world. Many Ukrainian girls cut their hair to avoid rape.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 3,000 soldiers have died and at least 10,000 have been injured as a result of Russia’s onslaught.

900 civilians died around Kyiv

The dead bodies of about 900 civilians have been found in the area around the Ukrainian capital following the withdrawal of the Russian army. Most of them were hit by bullets in their heads. It is also expected that a mass level of executions also took place.

Presiden Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian troops occupying parts of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions in the south of terrorizing civilians and hunting for anyone who served in Ukraine’s military or government.

The number of casualties went up after Russia’s Defense Ministry promised to intensify the missile attacks on Kyiv amid Ukraine’s alleged assaults on Russian territory. The Russian army gave a threatening warning after the loss of Moscow’s flagship in the Black Sea.

Moscow’s assault on eastern Ukraine continued. Fighting also went on in the pummelling southern port city of Mariupol.  

Fighting continued in industrial areas and the port. Russia, for the first time, used the Tu-22M3 long-range bomber to attack the city, said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

In the northeastern city of Kharkiv, shelling took place in a residential area, killing seven people, including a 7-month-old child, and wounding 34 others, according to regional Governor Oleh Sinehubov.

Ukrainian troops are resisting the assault of the invading Russian forces. Putin is mulling taking the help of the mighty Chechen fighters. They are famous for their fierce battles and favoured Russia in this fight.

Meanwhile, the head of the Chechen Republic stated that Russian troops are prepared to launch an all-out assault not only on Mariupol but also on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and other cities.
