A complaint was registered by Khemraj, a resident of the village of Kadarpur, that he used to keep his 41 buffaloes in an area close to the Aravalli hill, which is close to his village.

A company located in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, used to supply the cattle fodder. He claimed that recently, it had given out feed that had been chemically or poisonously contaminated.

On January 17, the buffalo began failing and tumbling as soon as they ate the fodder. “The owner of the buffaloes approached the veterinary doctor, but the buffaloes could not be saved,” explained Khemraj.

According to doctors, 32 buffaloes had died by Saturday due to eating some chemicals in the fodder. “The owner of the cattle said most of them used to give milk, and I have lost lakhs of rupees,” he added.
