New Delhi: Earthquake tremors have been felt in many states of the country. These tremors have been felt in Punjab-Haryana and Jammu. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be Faizabad in Afghanistan. An earthquake of 5.9 magnitude has occurred in Faizabad.
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck 70 km southeast of Afghanistan at around 10.19 am, tremors of which were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Poonch.
Due to the low intensity of the earthquake, no loss of life or property has been reported in any state. However, people came out of their homes as soon as the tremors were felt in Afghanistan.
