Gurugram: Five men were killed when the car they were travelling in hit a truck on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near Binaula village in Gurgaon early this morning, police said.
Around 2 am the car crashed into the truck from behind. All five passengers of the car died on the spot, they said.
After getting information, the police arrived and managed to recover the bodies.
Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Gajender Singh, who is the investigating officer in the case, said, “We are trying to identify those who died.” He said the car’s number plate had a Rajasthan registration.
According to the relatives of those killed in the road accident, all the men were working at the post of branch manager in Som Logistics Company who had come to Gurugram for company-related work.
The accident took place in the early hours of Thursday when they were returning after work.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and the police have launched a lookout for the truck driver.
Reports suggest that one of the deceased, Chandra Mohan worked as a branch manager in the company for the last 7 years. He also had a two-month-old daughter.
Meanwhile, the other deceased have been identified as Naveen, Abhishek, Bharat Bhushan.
