New Delhi: Strong tremors of earthquake have been felt in Pakistan. There has been a strong earthquake in Islamabad and other parts of Punjab. According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC), the epicenter of the earthquake was near Afghanistan, with a depth of 150 km and a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale.
According to NSMC, tremors were also felt in Rawalpindi, Murree, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and many other parts of Punjab. According to the initial information, there is no news of any casualty due to the earthquake. However, as soon as the tremors of the earthquake were felt, an atmosphere of panic was created among the people.
However, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, an independent tracker of earthquakes through crowdsourced information, said that an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 took place near Attock in the Punjab province of Pakistan.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Pakistan’s Peshawar, Chitral, Khyber district, Tank, Bajaur, Mardan, Muri, Mansehra, Multan, Kotli. This earthquake was not felt only in Pakistan, but the earth shook in other neighboring countries including India. According to NSMC, earthquake is a common thing in Pakistan. A day before this earthquake, there was a 4.3 magnitude earthquake in parts of Punjab. At the same time, the most dangerous earthquake in Pakistan came in the year 2005. Thousands of people died in this earthquake.
