Earthquake monitoring organization EMSC said that a magnitude 5.9 tremor was felt at around 10.19 am local time, 70 km east-southeast of Faizabad, Afghanistan. A magnitude 3.6 tremor was also felt 24 km south of Kahramanmaras in Turkey. At the same time, tremors have been felt in Pakistan’s Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and other provinces of Pakistan.
