It is being told that the speeding tanker hit the tractor trolley from behind in front of Sirsa post. There were 35 people in the tractor trolley during this accident. In this accident, 6 people have died on the spot. While others have been seriously injured Giving information, the police of Baheri said that a tractor trolley full of devotees was going from Sitarganj in Uttarakhand to Uttamnagar in Baheri. The devotees sitting in the tractor trolley were going to visit the Gurudwara.
During this, the tractor trolley of the tanker coming from behind at high speed collided. During this, Three women, two children and a man are among the dead. Those killed in the accident were identified as Bhajan Singh (36), Suman Kaur (15), Gurnamo Kaur (30), Akashdeep (8), Raja (6) and Jassi (35), he said. According to the information received, 15 to 20 people have been seriously injured in this accident.
On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and rushed the injured to the hospital for treatment. After the collision, the accused tanker driver fled from the spot leaving the vehicle, police said. The police have informed the families of the deceased about the accident. Police say that the search is on for the accused.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the loss of lives in the accident, according to an official statement issued in Lucknow. The Chief Minister has asked the district administration to ensure proper treatment of the injured, the statement said.
