A fire breaks out in a building near Delhi’s Mundka metro station, one dead, 24 fire engines at spot

New Delhi: A massive fire broke out today, May 13, in a building near the Mundka metro station in West Delhi. Information was received about the blaze at 4.40 pm following which 24 fire tenders were rushed to the spot, fire department officials said.

A woman died after a massive fire broke out in a building near Mundka metro station in west Delhi on Friday evening, officials said. The body of a woman has been recovered, they said.

“It’s a massive fire. Cranes are being used to go up and douse the fire. There’s no information on the rescue operation yet. We are waiting for details,” said DFS Chief Atul Garg.
