New Delhi: A fire broke out in a slum in the Salt Lake area of ​​West Bengal’s capital, Kolkata, on Sunday night, which gutted the affected slums. Officials gave this information.

According to the information, officials said that the fire broke out at around 40 minutes past seven in the evening in Falguni Bazar area and after about two hours of hard work, 10 fire tenders brought the fire under control. Fire Services Minister Sujit Basu said that many slums have been gutted by the fire.

The minister, who was present at the spot during the fire fighting, said that the people who lost their homes due to the fire, will be rehabilitated by the government.

Officials said no one was injured in the fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
