New Delhi: A massive Level 2 fire broke out in Andheri West area of ​​Mumbai. The fire broke out at around 4.30 pm near Star Bazaar on Link Road. After receiving information about the fire, many vehicles are present at the spot and efforts are on to control the fire.

According to the information, 10 fire tenders reached the spot. The fire reportedly broke out in a shop of 1000 sq ft area. A plume of smoke is definitely being seen in the entire sky due to the fire. “Level 2 fire reported in Andheri West area, near Star Bazar on link road around 4.30 pm. 10 fire-fighting vehicles rushed to spot. Fire is reportedly at a shop of 1000 sq ft area. No injured persons reported yet,” fire officials told media.

The Mumbai fire brigade said that no injured persons have been reported yet. Earlier, officials had said the fire started in a shop in the area, but later they confirmed that it was at a film set.

According to sources, Visuals from the scene showed huge plumes of smoke billowing from the building which was apparently a film set of director Luv Ranjan. According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were in lead roles in the film. The fire broke out during the pre-lighting on the set. Shooting for the movie was to begin from next week.
