Delhi: Demand for resignation of LG VK Saxena, AAP MLAs will sit in the assembly all night.Aam Aadmi Party MLA Durgesh Pathak on Monday accused Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena of committing a scam of Rs 1400 crore while being the president of Khadi Village Industries in the Delhi Assembly.
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party MLA Durgesh Pathak on Monday accused Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena of committing a scam of Rs 1400 crore while being the president of Khadi Village Industries in the Delhi Assembly. He demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. Regarding this, AAP MLAs will stage a protest inside the assembly tonight. The MLAs demand that Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena should resign.
At this time, the AAP government is angry with the LG over many issues. On the one hand, the investigation of the liquor scam and the non-approval of the Singapore tour was going to increase the controversy, while now sending back many proposals by the LG has increased the dispute further. For this reason, now the MLAs have openly stood against the LG against the Aam Aadmi Party.
In fact, Durgesh Pathak gave a big information through the house. Before becoming the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Vinay Kumar Saxena was the chairman of Khadi Village Industries. Sharing an anecdote from then, he said that during demonetisation, there were many such complaints in the PMO that Khadi Village Industries are converting old notes into new notes on a large scale. When it was investigated, the names of two cashiers of Khadi Village Industries came in it – Pradeep Kumar Yadav and Sanjeev Kumar.
They further say that the statement of both was that Khadi Village Industries floor in-charge Ajay Gupta and manager AK Garg intimidated these cashiers and said that the money belonged to Vinay Kumar Saxena. If this allegation is on the chairman, then it should be investigated. This is also a big matter because then poor people could get their money changed by waiting in line for hours.
Although this demonstration is taking place regarding these issues, but recently since many proposals of the AAP government were returned by the LG simply because they were not signed by the CM, the tension has increased even more. In fact, LG wrote a letter to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a few days ago. It was said in that letter that many such proposals are coming to him from the government on which the CM is not signed, so he does not understand whether the Chief Minister has any information about those proposals or not.
Then VK Saxena suggested that CM send them to him only after signing all the proposals. Now only after that letter, LG returned those 47 files which were not being signed by the CM.
