New Delhi: Manish Sisodia met wife Seema Sisodia after 103 days. Both have met after the order of the Delhi High Court. Manish Sisodia was allowed to meet on the basis of his wife’s deteriorating health.

In the message, Seema Sisodia alleged that the police remained stationed outside her bedroom to keep an eye on the couple and listen to their conversations during their meeting.

Recalling the incident of being warned by well-wishers, Seema Sisodia said, when Manish and others were in the process of forming AAP, we were cautioned by well-wishers and advised to move forward keeping away from politics.
According to Seema Sisodia, people had alerted and said that journalism and activism are good things, joining politics will only cause trouble. Those in power will do everything in their power to hinder your work and cause pain to our family. Explaining the reasons behind her husband’s decision to join politics, Seema Sisodia said, “Manish was firm on the decision. He joined hands with Arvind Kejriwal and other like-minded people. Regarding the hardships faced by her husband in jail, Seema Sisodia said, “Today I saw determination on Manish’s face. It was also reflected in his words.” Despite 103 days of sleeping on the floor, mosquitoes, ants, insects and unrelenting heat, he persevered. According to Seema, Manish is determined to uplift society through education and dream of honest politics with Arvind Kejriwal. He also talked about Sisodia’s daily routine in jail.
Describing Manish Sisodia’s daily activities in jail, she said, “He has immersed himself in studying the history of education around the world. He is reading stories of leaders from different countries. On May 30, the CBI had refused to grant bail to Sisodia. After 26 February, on 9 March, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sisodia in a case. Presently he is in judicial custody i.e. behind bars for 103 days.
