Chandigarh: CM Arvind Kejriwal, who came to power by promising to end VIP culture, is surrounded by questions regarding Z Plus security. In the list, Kejriwal has been described as the convenor of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab, hence he has been given Z plus security. Whereas in Punjab the convener of the Aam Aadmi Party is Bhagwant Mann himself. According to the claim, this list was released on April 29. In such a situation, the question arises that why Conveyor has been written in front of Arvind Kejriwal’s name in the list.

The politics of Punjab has heated up regarding this question. Senior Congress leader Pargat Singh also attacked the tweet Kejriwal. Pargat Singh wrote, “Arvind Kejriwal has been wrongly shown as the Conveer of Punjab and has been given Z plus security. Kejriwal already has Z plus security from the Center as Delhi CM, a common man has two Z plus security.

Addressing the media in Chandigarh, Khaira claimed that Kejriwal has been given Z+ security cover of Punjab Police. Khaira claimed that Punjab Police commandos were posted at Kapurthala House in Delhi, the official residence of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

He demanded that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann withdraw the security provided by the state government to the AAP national convener.

Later, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Police said that the document Khaira has cited is a part of a writ petition filed by former Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The spokesperson said that these attached documents are not in any way official documents of Punjab Police.

The spokesman said that it is clear from the perusal of the said list that it is a typed document, in which there is no signature, official stamp or official certification anywhere. This list appears to have been typed by the petitioner and is attached to the writ petition.

What Z+ Security means:
The security of the Z Plus category is the second most stringent security system in the country after the Special Protection Group. In this security system, 55 security personnel are present for security. There are more than 10 NSG commandos out of 55 people.

Apart from this, there are police officers. In this security, the responsibility of the first circle is of the NSG while the second layer is of the SPG commandos. Apart from this, ITBP and CRPF personnel are also included in the Z plus security category. Also, escorts and pilot vehicles are also provided in Z+ safety.
