New Delhi: After the resignation of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, now the discussion of Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi joining the Arvind Kejriwal government is in full swing. According to sources, if the resignations of Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are accepted, Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj will be made new ministers in the Delhi government. Regarding this, the names of both the MLAs have been sent to the Lieutenant Governor.
Satyendar Jain, a minister in the Delhi government, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate nine months ago in a money laundering case and has been in jail since then. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is in CBI custody in connection with the excise policy scam. Sisodia has the charge of several key ministries.
The names of the new ministers are likely to be announced soon. However, their swearing-in may take some time. New ministers will be appointed after the resignation of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain is approved by the President.
Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain have resigned from their ministerial posts. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also accepted his resignation. Manish Sisodia is the biggest leader in Aam Aadmi Party after Kejriwal. He had 18 departments out of 33 in Delhi government.
