Mumbai: Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been constantly in the news. First there was thrill about the superstar’s pairing with Pooja Hegde, followed by Shehnaaz Gill’s entry into Bollywood. But the most important thing in the movie is regarding Aayush Sharma’s exit from the project.
He apparently walked out of his brother-in-law’s film because of creative differences with director Farhad Samji and has now been replaced by Jassie Gill.
There is a report which has been buzzing in the cinema fraternity amidst Aayush Sharma’s exit from the film because of creative differences with director Farhad Samji. However, Jassie Gill is ready to take his place.
The problem started when Aayush rejected the offer of playing Salman’s on-screen brother. He did not like the screen presence in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, because he felt that the character did not add on to his growth as an actor.
He apparently spoke with both Salman and the director, but the latter did not want to make too many changes to his script. So Aayush decided to ‘gracefully’ leave the film.
As they say, all’s well that ends well. We will now see Jassie opposite Shehnaaz in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali instead of Aayush. Meanwhile, buzz suggests that Salman’s other on-screen brother, Zaheer Iqbal, who also walked out of the film sometime back, has been replaced by Siddharth Nigam.
It is expected that the team will officially announce the star cast soon.
