Actor Adil Hussain rushed outside after experiencing several shocks on Wednesday morning, only to find himself locked out of his home, he took "shelter" at a friend's house, for which he later expressed gratitude on Twitter.

Mumbai: Actor Adil Hussain rushed outside after experiencing several shocks on Wednesday morning, only to find himself locked out of his home. He took “shelter” at a friend’s house, for which he later expressed gratitude on Twitter.

Adil tweeted, “Came out of the house during the earthquake. locked out of the house. By mistake. Without cash or cards… Dear friend @dibang was awake.. Sheltered us.. About to now sleep in his guest room. God bless him for being awake and hearing the phone ring.

While many praised Adil’s friend, journalist Dibang, German actor Suzanne Bernert commented, “What a full moon night u had.” Adil also responded to her with, “More than Earthquake.. You are right! It was more the impact of the Moon..”

Adil has been anxiously awaiting the release of his next ZEE5 web show, Mukhbir. The plot revolves around a spy, which also features Prakash Raj. He was inspired by true stories; the espionage thriller was inspired by the story of an Indian detective. The show also features stars like Barkha Bisht, Zain Khan Durrani, Zoya Afroz, and Satyadeep Mishra Harsh Chhaya and Karan Oberoi

Adil recently stated, “I am really drawn to stories that impact the audience and motivate them to go above and beyond the norm.” One such tale that will appeal to any Indian worldwide is Mukhbir. It was great to work with the accomplished director team of Shivam Nair and Jayprad Desai, who have a wealth of knowledge and proficiency in this genre.

Mukhbir has been slated for a November 11 release.
