New Delhi: People from all walks of life have been joining Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra since the start of the foot march.
It is the turn of noted actor Kamal Haasan, who has decided to join former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on December 24 in the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra. As per party functionary Makkal Needi Maiam, the actor-turned-politician is set to join Mr Gandhi in Delhi next week. Rahul Gandhi has invited the superstar to take part in the march.
The caravan is expected to enter Delhi on the eve of Christmas. After that, the yatra will be underway after a long break of eight days. In the next round, the foot march will enter BJP-led Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab next month before reaching Jammu and Kashmir.
The yatra on Friday completed 100 days of travel that covered eight states, starting from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and continuing through Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
The yatra completed its 100 days, which the party termed a historic achievement. On this occasion, a musical concert was organised with singers Sunidhi Chauhan and others performing at the event to make it memorable.
