His Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was one of the biggest hits of 2022. Kartik has revealed recently that actor Salman Khan gave him some much-needed advice regarding the success and failure of the film industry.
In his recent interview, Kartik revealed plenty of things, including why most Hindi films failed to succeed last year. In fact, during that period, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 hit the theatres and broke box office records.
Answering the question, “When most films perform badly, how did Kartik Aaryan’s film become a hit?” After that, Kartik then shared that once actor Salman Khan had once said on this matter, “Jab sabki hit ho rahi hoti he, aur tumhari hit ho toh maza nahi ata, jab sabki flop ho rahi hai, aur tumhari hit ho gayi toh history ho jaati he.” (When other films are hits and so is the case with yours, then it’s not fun, but when other films turn flops and yours is a hit, then it turns out to be history.
Kartik said that he asked Salman whether his advice was complimentary or a warning for him, and he recalled the situation of how Salman had hugged him at that moment. Kartik further added that Salman used to crack jokes with him in a simple manner.
Kartik Aaryan was last spotted in Freddy alongside actor Alaya F, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar.
On the work front he will be soon seen in his upcoming film, Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu. His other movie in the pipeline is Shehzada, alongside Kriti Sanon. The film is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Ronit Roy.
