Mumbai: Actor Kiccha Sudeep, who has a history of speaking out on social media with great vigour, did it once more. The actor called out a man from the crowd who recently attacked actor Darshan with a slipper. The actor also mentioned in his tweet that the man who attacked Darshan at the event was presumably a fan of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar. He tweeted the following, along with a lengthy statement: “Rebellion isn’t always an answer.”
The rivalry between the supporters of Darshan and the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar was also addressed by Kiccha Sudeep. Regarding Darshan, I concur that there may have been a less than ideal circumstance between him and Puneeth’s followers.
Despite their disagreements, Kiccha Sudeep said he can’t ignore Darshan’s contribution to Kannada cinema. Kiccha Sudeep and Darshan, who had been linked as rivals for a long time, put an end to rumours of a feud when Sudeep praised Darshan’s 2013 film Bul Bul.”Darshan has made significant contributions to our field and our language,” Kiccha Sudeep continued.
I won’t let the differences between us prevent me from expressing my feelings openly. He undoubtedly didn’t deserve this treatment, and I found it upsetting as well.
Currently, Darshan is busy with the promotion of his film Kranti, which also stars Rachita Ram, Ravichandran, and Sumalatha. It is scheduled to hit theatres in January 2023. Puneeth Rajkumar died at the age of 46 last year.
