Mumbai: The threat letter by Lawrence Bishnoi, gangster to actor Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan, has created fear in the mind of salman. Therefore, he has been seeking a weapon licence to protect himself. He submitted an application to Mumbai Police regarding this.
The actor met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar on Friday, July 22, amidst the threat letter given to him and his father.
Salman’s father received a threat letter last month on June 5 from Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand promenade in which it was written that “tumhara Moose Wala kar denge (you will face the same fate as Moose Wala)”. All these things took place after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
The Mumbai Police came into action and are investigating the matter to know the exact nature of the threat letter to Salman and his father. Later, police made it clear that it was a publicity stunt by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. One of Bishnoi’s aides, Vikram Barad, who is living in Canada, was responsible for the threat letter, as per officials.
