Mumbai: On Saturday, Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been allowed by the court to travel to Abu Dhabi to attend/ participate in IIFA awards 2022. She has received the permission to travel to Abu Dhabi between May 31st to June 6th.
Bollywood Actress was banned from leaving India by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as she is being investigated by the agency in the Rs 200-crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
On 11 May, the actor had moved an application in a Delhi court seeking permission to travel abroad for 15 days, for IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi. She has also sought the court’s permission to travel to Abu Dhabi, France and Nepal. However, with regards to Nepal, the Enforcement Directorate previously informed the court that her pass to attend a particular event in the country has been cancelled. Meanwhile, the ED had also dismissed her plea to travel to France, stating that the Kick star had not submitted satisfactory documents
In its order allowing Jacqueline abroad travels for the aforementioned dates, the Court had imposed several restrictions. She has to submit a surety of Rs 50 lakh, will have to provide her itinerary, place of stay and the number she can be contacted on and upon return to India, she will have to inform the agency about it.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline is looking forward to the release of the film ‘Ram Setu’ in which she will be seen with Akshay Kumar and Nushrratt Bharuccha. She will also star in ‘Vikrant Rona’ and she has ‘Kick 2’ in the pipeline as well.
