New Delhi: In the breaking development in the case, The troubles of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez may increase in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar fraud case. The Enforcement Directorate says that Jacqueline had information about Sukesh being married apart from the ongoing criminal cases. The ED had found Jacqueline an accused in the extortion case. ED believes that she knew that thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar used to extort money. The statements of key witnesses and accused revealed that Jacqueline Fernandez was in constant touch with Sukesh over video calls. Sukesh has also admitted to giving expensive gifts to this Sri Lankan actress.
The Patiala Court has taken cognizance of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) chargesheet against Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Jacqueline has been summoned to appear in court on 26 September. The ED had made the actress an accused in the chargesheet of Sukesh Chandrashekar’s extortion case of Rs 200 crore. The ED filed a supplementary chargesheet against the film actress in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. This chargesheet was filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Recently, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s assets worth Rs 7.27 crore were attached under the Anti-Money Laundering Act in connection with the criminal investigation against alleged thugs Sukesh Chandrashekhar and others by the Enforcement Directorate.
According to the chargesheet filed by the ED, 36-year-old Jacqueline Fernandez was given gifts totaling around Rs 5.71 crore by Sukesh. Sukesh gifted Jacqueline a horse worth Rs 52 lakh, a cat worth Rs 9 lakh. Jacqueline’s sister was gifted USD 1 lakh (approximately Rs 79,42,000) and brother 2,67,40 Australian dollars (approximately Rs 14,79,267). The Bollywood actress was gifted with designer bags and outfits by Gucci and Chanel as well as bracelets. Sukesh also gifted Jacqueline a Mini Cooper car, which Jacqueline said she had returned.
