Kabul: There is news of another bomb blast near Kabul Airport in Afghanistan. Earlier, 13 people were killed and 30 were injured in the blast. Three American soldiers are also among the injured.

Attack near Abbey Gate

According to Afghan media, this bombing took place near Abbey Gate of Kabul Airport. Confirming the incident, a spokesman for the US Defense Ministry said, ‘We confirm this explosion near Kabul Airport. At present, the information about the casualties in the incident is not clear. Once the details are received, its information will be shared with everyone.

ISIS-K claimed responsibility for the attack

According to American media, it was a suicide bomber attack. Along with this attack, bullets have also been fired near Abbey Gate. According to sources, the ISIS-K terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Kabul airport. After this incident, the Netherlands has temporarily stopped the operation being carried out to evacuate its citizens from Afghanistan. At the same time, Britain has called an emergency meeting of senior ministers and officers to review the situation.

Let us tell you that thousands of Afghan citizens have been frozen outside Kabul Airport for the last one week. But due to lack of visa and passport, they are not able to get entry inside the airport. At the same time, the Taliban has also announced that no Afghan citizen will be allowed to leave the country and they will have to return to their homes.

America had warned of attack

24 hours before this bombing outside Kabul airport, America had expressed the possibility of a terrorist attack there. On August 25, the US issued an advisory asking all its citizens stranded in Afghanistan to get away from the airport as soon as possible. The US had warned that there were major security threats outside the airport. Therefore all American citizens should immediately move away from Abbey Gate.

At the same time, after the bombing outside Kabul airport on Thursday evening, France warned that there could be more explosions there. The French Ambassador to Afghanistan said that the situation in Afghanistan is worrying. There could also be another blast there. Minutes after his warning, a second explosion occurred outside the airport.
