Kabul: The Taliban era has returned in Afghanistan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been occupied by Taliban fighters. Footage from the Al-Jazeera news network showed a large group of Taliban fighters inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital, Kabul. After capturing Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, the Taliban is occupying important places in Kabul. At the same time, after the entry of Taliban in Kabul, people have locked themselves in their homes.

Thousands of people are being seen at Kabul Airport after the entry of Taliban in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Diplomats of many countries are also being taken away from Kabul airport itself. The news of firing at Kabul airport has been received only after the capture of Taliban. Videos of stampede everywhere at the airport are now going viral on social media.

There are reports of two big blasts near the US embassy in Kabul. No information has been received so far about anyone being injured or killed in this blast. America has asked its citizens to hide in safe places. Along with this, there has also been firing at Kabul Airport, due to which a fire broke out at Kabul Airport.

Ashraf Ghani told the reason for leaving Afghanistan

Ashraf Ghani, the President of Afghanistan, has given the reason for leaving his country. He has written in his Facebook post that he fled from Afghanistan so that people do not have to see much bloodshed. Ashraf Ghani is being criticized for leaving the country in difficult times. Ashraf Ghani wrote in his Facebook post, ‘If he had stayed in Afghanistan, a large number of people would have come to fight for the country. In such a situation, innumerable people would have died there. With this the city of Kabul would have been completely ruined. So he decided to leave the country. Now the Taliban has won. He is responsible for the honour, property and security of the Afghan people.

Amrullah Saleh, the Vice President of Afghanistan, has tweeted twice since yesterday and said that he is in Afghanistan and has not left the country. The Afghan media has not yet said anything on Saleh’s leaving the country. Only President Ashraf Ghani has left the country.

Taliban fighters capture Rashtrapati Bhavan

Taliban fighters have captured Afghanistan’s Rashtrapati Bhavan in Kabul. Video footage broadcast on the Al-Jazeera news network showed a large group of Taliban fighters inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital, Kabul. The Taliban are expected to announce their occupation of Afghanistan from Rashtrapati Bhavan and re-name the country as the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’. Within days of the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan after twenty years of fighting, almost the entire country has been again captured by the Taliban.
