The victim’s family has narrated the entire incident in the FIR lodged with the police. Kaushal Yadav, a resident of Etawah, used to work as a delivery boy in a food company. On January 1, at 1 am, his cousin called on his mobile, and an Ola driver picked up the phone.
He told that ‘your brother was hit by an unknown vehicle and dragged about 1 kilometer to Shani temple and escaped from here.’ Thereafter cousin Amit Kumar reached the spot and saw that His brother is lying there unconscious.
The cousin and other relatives hurriedly took Kaushal to a nearby hospital, but then Kaushal had lost his life.
The driver stopped the car near a temple and fled the scene after Kaushal’s body came off, eyewitnesses say.
A case has been filed based on a complaint filed by Amit and investigation is on, officials said.
“We are scanning the CCTVs installed in the area to trace the suspect,” an official said.
