Mumbai: Godrej Properties Ltd on Friday said it has bought veteran film actor, director and producer Raj Kapoor’s bungalow in Mumbai’s Chembur. The company plans to develop a luxury residential project at the site. This bungalow of Raj Kapoor is on Deonar Farm Road with Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The company has bought this bungalow from the Kapoor family. However, for how much Godrej Properties Limited bought this bungalow, it has not been disclosed.

Now an expensive residential project will be built on it. Earlier, Godrej Properties had bought Raj Kapoor’s RK Studio in May 2019. A mixed use project Godrej RKS is also being developed there. The project is expected to be completed this year itself.
