Tampere/Finland: Again it is proved that age has not limit. India’s 94-year-old Goddess Devi Dagar presented an example. She has won gold and two bronze medals at the World Masters Athletics Championships. Bhagvani has become a source of inspiration for everyone by doing this feat at the age of 94. He proved that age is just a number. If a person has the will power to do anything, then he is definitely successful. Bhagwani Devi of Haryana has won the gold medal in the 100m sprint event.
Bhagwani Devi won the gold medal in the 100m sprint event in Tampere, Finland in just 24.74 seconds. Along with this, he has won the bronze medal in shot put. The Sports Ministry has congratulated Bhagwani on his resounding victory. The ministry has written a congratulatory message with his picture.
The ministry tweeted, “The 94-year-old Bhagwan Devi of India has once again proved that age is not a barrier! He won the gold medal in the 100m sprint event at the #WorldMastersAthleticsChampionships in Tampere with a timing of 24.74sec. He also won a bronze in shot put.
