Air India Flight Delayed Over 8 Hours, Passengers Faint Without AC

An Air India flight from Delhi to San Francisco was delayed for more than eight hours on Thursday, causing a lot of trouble for passengers. Many shared their experiences on social media, saying the lack of air conditioning made some people faint.

Passengers Struggle Without Air Conditioning
Passengers said they had to wait inside the plane without air conditioning, which caused some people to faint. Photos shared on social media showed passengers waiting in an area that looked like a hallway leading to the plane.

Air India Apologizes for Problems
Air India apologized for the inconvenience and discomfort. The airline promised they are working to fix the delay and help the passengers.

Reactions on Social Media
Journalist Shweta Punj posted about the situation on social media, tagging Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. She called the situation “inhuman” and criticized Air India’s handling of the delay.

“If there is a privatisation story that has failed, it is Air India. The DGCA AI 183 flight has been delayed for over eight hours. Passengers were made to board the plane without air conditioning and then deplaned after some people fainted in the flight. This is inhuman,” Shweta Punj tweeted.

Air India responded, assuring her they are addressing the issue and providing help.

Air India’s Response
Air India replied to the complaints on social media, saying they are sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort. They assured passengers that their ground team is helping.

By addressing the passengers’ concerns and responding on social media, Air India is trying to manage the problems caused by the long delay.
