In this mega budget movie, Ajay Devgn will be seen sharing screen space for the second time with his ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ co-star Alia Bhatt. The star-studded movie also features Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The film is a “fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters – Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem”, set in the 1920’s backdrop.
Notably, ‘RRR’ is Rajamouli’s first project after the 2017 mega-blockbuster ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. The film will release across the globe in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously. Initially ‘RRR’ was slated for a July 30, 2020 release, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic production work halted as the film’s director SS Rajamouli and actor Ram Charan contracted the virus last year. Film’s lead actress Alia Bhatt also tested positive for COVID-19 recently.
