The senior leader of the SAD charged Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann with "shaming Punjabis" after he allegedly deplaned at Frankfurt Airport in Germany because he was drunk.
Chandigarh: The senior leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) charged Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann with “shaming Punjabis” after he allegedly deplaned at Frankfurt Airport in Germany because he was drunk.
SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal on Twitter said that Pb CM @BhagwantMann was removed from a Lufthansa flight because he was unable to walk. This is according to disturbing media reports citing fellow passengers. Furthermore, a 4-hour flight delay resulted. He didn’t go to attend the national AAP convention. He missed AAP’s national convention. These reports have embarrassed and shamed Punjabis all over the globe. Shockingly, the Pb govt is mum over these reports involving their CM. “
The Punjab chief minister returned to New Delhi on schedule, according to Malwinder Singh Kang, the chief spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), who has called the allegations against Mann “baseless.”
“The Chief Minister returned to his schedule. He took a return flight on September 18 from Germany. He will land in New Delhi on the 19th of September.” The opposition’s allegations against Mann to defame his stature are baseless, rubbish and false propaganda,” Kang said
