Akshay Kumar Upcoming Film: Amidst the clash between Gadar 2 and OMG 2, the makers have revealed the release date of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Welcome 3'. Along with this, the name of the film has also been revealed.
Mumbai: After Arshad Warsi put an end to speculations by confirming that Welcome 3 is in the works, producer Firoz Nadiadwala on Wednesday shared the big news with fans and revealed that Welcome 3 will hit the theaters on Christmas next year. Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi starrer film will not be titled ‘Welcome 3’ but ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. Let me tell you, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Welcome Back’ were directed by Anees Bazmee. On the other hand, according to media reports, Ahmed Khan can direct its third part.
The release date of ‘Welcome 3’ has been confirmed. According to the official announcement, it will be released in theaters on the occasion of Christmas next year. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Firoz Nadiadwala is the producer of this film. He released ‘Welcome’ on the occasion of Christmas in the year 2007. That’s why he wants to release the third part of ‘Welcome’ ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ on Christmas itself.

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi have been cast in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ to spice up the comedy of Munna Bhai and Circuit. Apart from Akshay, Sanjay and Arshad, Paresh Rawal will also be a part of the film. Talking about the female cast of the film, the names of Disha Patni and Jacqueline Fernandez are coming out in media reports. However, the name of any female actress has not been officially announced yet.
The actor confirmed that he is indeed a part of Welcome 3. He told HT, “The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film which I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal and lots of other people.”
