TVS Motor today finally launched the updated versions of the Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 at a starting price of Rs 1.18 lakh and Rs 1.24 lakh. Bookings for the new TVS Apache RTR 160 & TVS Apache RTR 180 are now open.
New Delhi: Good news for bike lover as TVS has launched upgraded version of TVS Apache in two new models, the TVS Apache RTR 160 & the TVS Apache RTR 180. The motorcycles both get extensive updates over the outgoing models, which includes added power, refreshed design, and SmartXonnect connected tech. The newly launched Apache RTR 160 & RTR 180 go on sale alongside the existing Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V. Prices for the Apache RTR 160 start at Rs. 1.18 lakh, and goes all the way up to Rs. 1.31 lakh for the RTR 180.

Availability in colors:
The 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 can be availed in five paint schemes: Gloss Black, Pearl White, Racing Red, Matte Blue and T-Grey. On the other hand, the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 180 comes in two colour choices namely Gloss Black and Pearl White. The motorcycles flaunt new graphics as a part of the styling update.
TVS motor company has done multiple upgrades in TVS Apache RTR 160 & 180 over the outgoing models. On the design front, the motorcycle gets a new LED head lamp, and a new LED tail lamp. The motorcycles are now also equipped with a wider new rear tyre, and the engine plus out more power in both the models. The Apache duo gets some of the best-in-segment features in the form of all-new LED headlamp, LED tail-lamp cluster, Dual-channel ABS, Slipper Clutch etc. to name a few.
The RTR 160 & RTR 180 get new LED headlamp and LED tail lamp units. Adding to the list of features is TVS SmartXonnect bluetooth connectivity, which offers turn by turn navigation. The new instrument cluster also has a gear position indicator and a gearshift indicator. Bookings for the RTR 160 & RTR 180 are now open, and the bikes go up against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar N160, and Hero Xtreme 160R.
The styling of the bikes is inspired by “The All-New Racer’s Choice” theme. The 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 and 2022 TVS Apache RTR 180 have been presented with a Bluetooth enabled fully digital instrument cluster and SmartXonnect technology with Voice Assist.
The 2022 Apache 160 and Apache 180 also boast of first-in-segment Ride modes feature with three modes namely Rain, Urban and Sport. Some of the other notable features in the motorcycles are X-ring chain, wider 120mm rear tyre, gear position indicator with shift assist and TVS Connect App with new UI/UX. Both the bikes are powerful than their previous versions while also being lighter in weight. The Apache 160 and Apache 180 are lighter by 2 kg and 1 kg, respectively.
