J&K:While announcing the yatra, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the state government is committed to ensure smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage.He said that we will provide best healthcare and other necessary facilities to all the visiting devotees and service providers.Telecom services will be made operational before the commencement of the pilgrimage.The 62-day Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra will begin on July 1 this year and will conclude on August 31, 2023.

The yatra will start simultaneously from both the routes, i.e. from Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and from Baltal in Ganderbal district. Notably, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) will also telecast the morning and evening aarti (prayers) live for devotees across the world.Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra’s app has been made available on Google Play Store to avail travel, weather and many services online.

‘All stakeholder departments are working in coordination to ensure the convenience of accommodation, electricity, water, security and other arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Yatra.’LG Manoj Sinha asked the government officials to take stringent measures for cleanliness and garbage collection.
