Lucknow: The launch date of Amazfit’s much awaited smartwatches from their GT2 Series; the GTR 2e and GTS 2e, in India, has finally been locked by the company, on Thursday. To give the existing market a tough competition, Amazfit has provided them with all the essential features of their counterparts, the GTR 2 and GTS 2 but at more affordable price.
The Huami-owned Amazfit is expected to launch its star smartwatches; GTS 2e and the GTR 2e on January 19, in India. Where, the sale of both smartwatches will go live on Amazfit’s official website (in.amazfit.com), GTR 2e will be available on Amazon and GTS 2e will make its debut on Flipkart.
“Unveiled globally at CES 2021, the launch of the complete GT2 Series in India highlights the brand’s unwavering commitment to offering consumers effective products and services in the wearable market,” the company statement read.
The GTS 2e also boasts a rotatable, 1.65-inch HD AMOLED screen that is comparable in clarity to the latest smartphones and claims to have a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge. Whereas, the GTR 2e comes with a rotatable, 1.39-inch AMOLED high-definition screen with 326 ppi pixel density for a clear and vivid display and is expected to come with an extended 24 days of battery life on a single charge. The GTR 2e also comes with improved haptics as compared to the GTS 2e.
To recall, both the smartwatches made their official entry during CES 202 just recently.
While there is no word on the pricing details, both the Amazfit GTS 2e and the GTR 2e are likely to fall under 10K and compete with the like of that Xiaomi Mi Revolve and the Realme Watch S Pro.
But what we are aware of is that both the GTS 2e and the GTR 2e will be available to buy on January 19 itself via Flipkart and Amazon India, respectively.
