The arson attack happened overnight Saturday in the city of San Luis Rio Colorado in the northern state of Sonora, which borders the United States, according to officials. A total of 11 people, including four women, died in the accident, while the other four have been admitted to the hospital.
State Attorney General Gustavo Romulo Salas told a news conference that one of the women who died in the accident was a US citizen, while one of the victims was only 17 years old, report.
However, the city’s mayor, Santos Gonzalez, said the suspect had been arrested by police.
