Rajouri: Days after a terror incident that left seven people dead, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit to the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow to assess the ground level situation in the affected area.
The home minister will visit the spot in Dhangri, Rajouri district, where the terror attack occurred, and will also meet with the relatives of the victims who were killed in the attack.
At Raj Bhavan in Jammu tomorrow, Amit Shah will also meet with top officials from Jammu and Kashmir and monitor the security establishment. He may also meet with some delegations.
The visit of the home minister comes days after terrorists killed two children in Upper Dhangri village in Rajouri district. Terrorists broke into citizens’ homes, confirmed their names, and started shooting at them.
Amit Shah’s schedule
The home minister will arrive in Jammu at 11.15 am and depart for Rajouri by helicopter at 11.30 am. At noon, he will arrive in Rajouri, after which he will travel to Dhangri to inspect the scene of the terrorist attack and speak with the families of the victims.
Shah will return to Jammu at 1.30 pm. After that, at 2 pm, he will preside over a meeting of representatives from the civil administration and security personnel in Jammu’s Raj Bhavan.
Around 4 o’clock, he will depart for Delhi and possibly meet with some delegations.
