Megastar Amitabh Bachchan visited Ayodhya on Friday, making a spiritual journey to seek blessings at the Ram temple. This comes weeks after his attendance at the grand inauguration of the temple alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22.
Spiritual Visit: Amitabh Bachchan, along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, arrived in Ayodhya for a visit to the Ram temple. The 81-year-old actor had participated in the consecration ceremony on January 22, which was attended by over 7,000 distinguished guests.
Grand Inauguration: The actor, in a post after the consecration ceremony, described the day as “filled with the relevance of divine spirit.” He shared pictures of the temple and the new Ram Lalla idol, expressing the significance of the event and the belief of faith.
Jewellery Showroom Inauguration: Apart from seeking blessings at the temple, Amitabh Bachchan is reported to inaugurate a new showroom for a jewellery brand he endorses during his visit.
Land Purchase: Reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan has bought a plot in a seven-star enclave in Ayodhya, approximately 15 minutes away from the Ram temple. The plot, said to be around 10,000 sqft, was purchased from Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
Amitabh Bachchan’s visit to Ayodhya not only signifies his spiritual connection but also his engagement with the development and cultural aspects of the region, including the endorsement of a jewellery brand and the reported purchase of land.
