Andhra Pradesh: Seven workers died due to suffocation while cleaning oil tank

Andhra Pradesh: A big incident took place in Ragampeta village of Andhra Pradesh. Seven workers died while cleaning tankers at an edible oil manufacturing company here. Police said, all the employees died due to suffocation. Several employees have been admitted to the hospital.

Andhra Pradesh: A big incident took place in Ragampeta village of Andhra Pradesh. Seven workers died while cleaning tankers at an edible oil manufacturing company here. Police said, all the employees died due to suffocation. Several employees have been admitted to the hospital. The laborers have been immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment.

According to the information, the laborers had landed for cleaning the tankers of the edible oil manufacturing company. As soon as the gas entered inside the tank, the laborers started suffocating. The incident happened around seven in the morning.

The laborers started having difficulty in breathing. In a hurry, the laborers were taken to the hospital. An eyewitness told media persons that one person first entered the oil tank and the other followed as he did not come up.

Similarly, the remaining five workers got into the oil tank and died immediately. The deceased were identified as Krishna, Sagar, Narasimha, Banj Babu, Rama Rao, Jagadeesh, and Prasad, as per local media reports. Five of the deceased were from Paderu, and the other two were from Pulimeru of Peddapuram Mandal.
