Lucknow: An SUV hit a rickshaw puller in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. After this the rickshaw driver jumped and hanged on the window, then the SUV did not stop and while hanging it was taking it at a high speed. After going a little distance, the rickshaw driver fell on the road and died. The car is registered in the name of Gopal Agarwal and the name of the rickshaw puller is Jeetu.
Police registered a case and arrested the driver of the SUV. The incident took place between Swasthya Bhawan intersection to Parivartan Chowk at around 1 pm on Saturday afternoon. The CCTV of this entire incident has come to the fore, in which it can be clearly seen how the young man is hanging in the SUV. The SUV hangs the rickshaw puller for 150 metres.

At some distance the rickshaw puller falls on the road itself. People nearby informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and admitted the e-rickshaw driver to the hospital. He died during treatment here. The police have registered a case in the matter and arrested the driver.

Guddu, maternal uncle of the deceased Jeetu reached the spot, says that if Jeetu had got timely treatment, his life would have been saved, he was lying injured on the road, but no one took him to the hospital. Police said that the rickshaw driver Jeetu was a resident of Kaiserbagh, the accident was reported from the SUV on Saturday.
After this, the injured Jeetu was admitted to the hospital, he died during treatment, later when the police investigated to trace the SUV, the CCTV footage came to the fore. After the accident, the SUV driver did not stop the vehicle, but increased the speed. The SUV narrowly escaped hitting several people. People saved their lives by running here and there.
Inspector Akhilesh Mishra of Hazratganj told that the name of the SUV owner is Gopal Aggarwal and he is a resident of Sector-B of Aliganj. Police has arrested the accused driver.
